This 2018 BMW F80 M3 Competition is finished in factory BMW Individual Ferrari Red—officially designated Ferrarirot U90—and paired with a BMW Individual Golden Brown Extended Merino leather interior.
The BMW Individual identification plate beneath the bonnet confirms the Ferrarirot factory finish. This is not a vinyl wrap or a vehicle subsequently repainted red; it was commissioned and produced in this striking colour through BMW Individual.
The interior is equally special. Golden Brown Extended Merino leather covers the Competition sports seats, rear seating and door inserts, complemented by a leather-trimmed dashboard and upper door areas. Carbon-fibre interior trim provides the perfect sporting contrast and completes one of the most distinctive F80 M3 interiors produced.
This combination is believed to be one of only four F80 M3s produced worldwide in Ferrari Red over Golden Brown and is understood to be the only right-hand-drive example. Formal confirmation from BMW has been requested.
The car has also been enhanced with a carefully selected collection of premium components, including a genuine 3D Design Japan carbon-fibre front lip and rear diffuser, genuine BMW M Performance carbon-fibre mirror covers, side-skirt extensions, boot-lid spoiler and carbon interior door-handle covers.
A genuine BMW M3 CS exhaust provides a more purposeful soundtrack while retaining the quality, integration and appearance expected of a factory BMW component.
At its heart is BMW M’s S55 3.0-litre twin-turbocharged inline-six, producing 331 kW and 550 Nm. Power is delivered to the rear wheels through the rapid-shifting seven-speed M Double-Clutch Transmission and Active M Differential.
The Competition specification adds model-specific chassis tuning, Adaptive M Suspension, revised stability-control calibration, M compound brakes, distinctive Competition sports seats and 20-inch Style 666M alloy wheels.
