According to the HDT Production book ( brock bible), being build number 4090, only 62 Calais Sports were built, including just 22 Turbos and 21 V8s. This makes our 1987 HDT Calais Sport Turbo an exceptionally rare find.
Compliance plates reveal that this car went down the GM production line in December 1986 and was signed off by HDT in February 1987. It was one of the last cars Holden supplied directly to HDT before the Director launch altered their relationship forever.
This special car was also featured on the cover of an Australian classic car magazine in November 2006, highlighting its significance and appeal.
Signed by a Legend: The owner’s manual is signed by none other than Peter Brock himself, adding a touch of motorsport royalty to this already extraordinary vehicle. This vehicle also comes with extensive documentation, manuals, build sheets, and all relevant paperwork.
