Prior to restoration, the car was described as a very sound, rust-free and damage-free base, making it an ideal candidate for the level of work that has since been carried out.

The car has been used sparingly since restoration, but importantly it has not simply sat unused. It recently completed a 450 km Sydney to Batemans Bay trip over two days without issue and is described by the owner as comfortable and enjoyable in both city and open-road driving.
This is a very well-sorted, highly usable classic Mercedes-Benz coupe with genuine provenance, desirable factory options, extensive restoration work and Mercedes-Benz specialist ownership.
The build cost is understood to far exceed the asking price.
Odometer note: the odometer currently displays 13,819 km. Due to the age of the vehicle and odometer rollover, total kilometres are not warranted. The vehicle should be assessed on condition, documentation, restoration quality and inspection.
